In 1997, he completed his undergraduate education in the department of systems engineering at the Turkish Military Academy. In 2005, he successfully obtained his master’s degree in the field of crime research. In 2024, he earned his doctorate degree from the Başkent University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology. He served for 25 years in the Gendarmerie General Command, holding various middle and senior management positions. In 2022, he retired as a senior colonel. He has taught criminology, crime prevention strategies, sociology of work, sociology of crime, and military sociology courses across different educational periods. His areas of study include sociology of crime, criminology, crime prevention strategies, and sociology of migration. He has published articles, book chapters, and presented papers in these fields.
